Stan Krome

The Sky is my home. Home in the sense of safe, comfortable, and familiar. It's hard to say how many miles I've traveled in my lifetime. 200,000 maybe 400,000 I don't know exactly I've never totaled them up. But I've certainly fallen into the category of mobile. Not really Jet-set, but I've been around.

Looking up is where I come back to reality. Skyward glances take me home. No matter where I am, what I'm doing, how old I am, or who I'm with-the Sky is always the Sky. Ever changing yet always dependable. It's always light during the day and dark at night. The sun is either blazing, smiling and open or it's sleeping, taking a little nap behind the clouds. The sun is always there for me.

...Night. Ah Night! Brings out the firmament, the celestial phenomenon. The Universe on display, twinkling in all of it's wonderment. Where's the moon tonight? How about Jupiter, Saturn, hey there's Mars. Orion and friends. Hey Guys, It's Stan your greatest fan.

The Sky is always there. Even if it's cloudy or foggy or I'm in the heart of the city with glaring mercury vapor lamps, the Sky, the stars, and all of their glory are there…for me. I feel them. I know they're there. My talisman, benchmark with reality, window of truth. Always suggesting tranquillity and a universal point of view.

Where ever my busy mind may take me, the sun, the stars, the Sky always takes me home.
